To the other readers: while Laurey read this, the room got quieter and quieter - people who had slipped out of the room to escape the end of a very long day of important but difficult panel discussions found their way back in, and sat, and smiled at each other, and leaned forward. They gasped and held hands and muttered "Oh, my God!!" - and patted me and my older sister, Lucinda, in the next-to-back-row. Our nephew Eric was snapping photo after photo of the presentation - and it got quieter and quieter. The video was great. The crowd was thrilled, and so happy to just sit and hear this story, masterfully told, by a real person. It was a wonderful moment. We were all united in our happiness to be there, hearing Laurey speak, quietly and movingly telling this story. We were so proud. All of us in the room were proud of her.Heather Mastertonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02292545284157320964noreply@blogger.com
